Shoutcast Streams WOO!

It’s finally arrived - the new Shoutcast store! I now have 60 streams for rent (hourly upto monthly) and wow did it take some doing! Thanks to everyone who motivated me, helped me out with advice and land, and all the party hosts who put up with me saying “Ehm I’ll be there in a minute..” hehe.

If you want to DJ as a one-off, or regularly, or would like to try it for the first time, send me an IM! I’ll guide you through everything you need. If I’m not online jump to the store at Orange Bisbee (104,195,22) and check out the guides in the Customer Service area.

It’s also pretty neat having your own music selection playing on your land parcel, and it’s easy to do

So yea, hopefully you might see a bit more of me now this is all finished! And err tell your friends! lol ^^

A Dream…

Last night I had a vivid dream, the kind of dream that messes you up for the rest of the day. Yea that kind. I dreamt I was with Russy and we were talking to each other in our beds. It was the kind of conversation where two people really click, and you know its true love, and you think if you try to explain it to anyone they wouldn’t understand. Yea that kind. But as we were talking and getting sleepy I knew I shouldn’t go to sleep, that if I slept I’d wake up and he’d be gone. But my eyes kept getting heavier and I fell asleep.

I woke up a little time later and Russy wasn’t there. I looked everywhere and tried everything I knew but nothing helped. I turned from incredible happiness into despair into a longing loss. And then I woke up.

Even though it wasn’t real, it sure felt real. So its reminded me to make the most of what I’ve got because nothing lasts forever.

I love you Russy, and I love all you guys

The Last Great Party

Woo and yay! Gosh so much happening - so many new stores, new great friends, awesome parties and … *takes a deep breath* .. yea!

I’m feverishly working on some great new kit for boys, but you’ll have to wait to find out! I’ll announce when my new store is open here, and I probably won’t be able to shut up about it so ya’ll probably get an IM

But the main reason for my post … The Last Great Party! Saturday will be my last set at Aspen Nights, so come and join me 1-3PM for some of the danciest, grimiest and downright dirtiest drum & bass ever at Aspens!

Flickr Account YAY!

Woohoo, I’ve finally signed up for a Flickr account! Check my latest photos on the sidebar of my blog, and I’ll post any interesting ones too. A while back I read about cool Flickr/Second Life projects that people are working on … have you guys come across any? I’d love an easy way to upload snapshots to Flickr from Second Life, or maybe view Flickr photo streams in SL. I’ll update this post if I find any cool tools ^^

Oh and keep reminding me in SL to take cool photos! I’m a bit of a goof sometimes, I forget

Edit: WordPress strips CSS from blog posts preventing me from using Flickr badges in my posts. This is some lame attempt at getting me to “upgrade” my account to support CSS. It’s more likely to make me host my own freakin blog. Silly adults!

Shoutcast Streams

If ya don’t know already - I rent out shoutcast streams so you can play your own music on land. It’s kinda related to my RL job so I take it seriously. I’ve got over 20 happy customers already! Over the weekend most of my vendors were rented out, I had a queue of people waiting for vendors to expire … it’s amazing when something you never expected gets so popular!

I spent ages this weekend working on new vendors, and a lot of server stuff that goes on in the background. Its instant setup - so the moment you pay a vendor your details are IMd to you. Now I can easily add more and more vendors when the old ones are full.

So if you need a shoutcast stream for a party, or a small one just for playin your own music at home … talk to me! Or you can visit the store in Humogo 16,140,73.
